Hello and Welcome! I’m Cori Burchell, Founder of Cori Burchell Image Consulting and Bachelor Style 911.
I’m a Personal Stylist and Image Consultant in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I help professional women and men define their personal style and manage their wardrobes. I show my clients that it’s possible to shop without stress. By working with me you’ll learn all the insider secrets to creating amazing outfits and feeling confident and well-dressed every day!
I’ve been involved in with fashion, sewing, clothing and costumes ever since I was a teenager. I was very fortunate to have a grandmother who worked for a couturier in Europe and she was the first person to teach me how to sew. I’ve designed a clothing line, styled television commercials, marketed cosmetics and I also work as an Assistant Costume Designer and Costume Supervisor in the movie industry in Toronto.
I love to coach and work with people one on one. I feel such gratitude for the work I do, when my clients tell me that they feel more confident, more attractive and ‘visible’ again after years of feeling invisible. Many clients have found new relationships or fallen in love, landed great new jobs or promotions and generally felt better about themselves because of our work together. Whether you’re interested in discovering your unique personal style, want a complete style makeover or just need some help managing your overstuffed closet, I can help!
In my film career I’ve met a lot of fun and famous people and have travelled all over the world working on films. I’ve been ‘behind the scenes’ at some amazing places and have a lot of stories to share! But don’t worry…the thing I love most is helping regular people (who aren’t celebrities) find their personal style! I’ve travelled all over the world working on movies and my recent film credits include Total Recall, Copper (a new TV series), On The Road, and many others including the Academy Award winning film Chicago.
What is a Personal Stylist?
A Personal Stylist is a person who is on your team, like a personal trainer, a life coach or a therapist, a hair stylist or a web designer. A trained professional who can see the potential in you and your wardrobe that is sometimes difficult to see for yourself. I’m a coach, a cheerleader and a trusted advisor in everything to do with your image, style and personal presence. I’ll help you figure out what your image says about you and how to make sure that you’re communicating the right one. I’ll help you shop, organize your closet, and put together amazing outfits for you (usually from the clothes you already have!). I’ll be honest about what does and doesn’t work for you, but always in the most professional and compassionate way. I don’t believe in ‘nasty’.
How does it work?
Our first session together is the “Signature Style” consultation. It’s the foundation work of what I do and your very first step. We’ll review an in-depth ‘Personal Style Assessment’ together, either in person, on the telephone or via Skype. Then I’ll make recommendations for you….future consultations could include shopping together, a closet review or maybe a colour analysis. Each person’s needs are different and I’ll customize a program just for you to get the maximum benefit out of our time together.

A Personal Stylist is for everyone who is willing to invest in their personal growth. It’s for anyone who wants to improve their confidence, self-esteem and bring out their inner beauty. It’s empowering and uplifting, creative and fun. It’s a celebration of what’s unique about you.
